Food & beverages
Taking a workation in rural Schleswig Holstein obviously is different from the urban experience with restaurants and bars around your corner. There are restaurants in drivable distance, but most of our guests choose to fix their own meals in our fully equipped kitchen:
- Fully automatic coffee machine (espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato, café lungo and foamed milk)
- Selection of tea
- Water bubbler with glass bottles
- Crockery and pots for self-supply
- Stove, oven and dishwasher
- Refrigerator for temporary storage of food you bring with you
We sell candy and soft drinks during office hours, and there are also options to order in. A variety of supermarkets and grocery stores (including organic) can be found at Süderbrarup.
In addition, we offer a weekly joint breakfast and on weekdays the possibility of a joint lunch if you’re up for socializing.
Sailing, wind surfing, wake board and water ski, canoeing, horseback riding, and of course bycicling – you can have tons of fun around here when you’re not working.
The one thing you won’t find so much around here, again, is the urban nightlife. Bars, restaurants, clubs are what you would visit cities like Hamburg or Berlin for.
The nearest international airport is Hamburg (HAM), with direct arrivals from London, Paris, Barcelona, Zurich, Amsterdam, Vienna, Istanbul, Dubai and many more.
From Hamburg (or any other city), you can take a train with Deutsche Bahn to Süderbrarup (usually via Kiel).
From the train station in Süderbrarup there is a bus connection right to our door. The name of our stop is “Kiesby Kreuzung, Boren”, you’ll literally drop at our front porch. We’re also happy to pick you up at the Süderbrarup train station!
